What do I do when I see the message SSL-certificate expired? |
|
Every SSL-certificate has an individual term of validity and therefore will expire eventually; e.g. the pre-installed SSL-certificate of the Internet browser Netscape 3 expired on July 27th, 1998. The SSL-certificate of Netscape 4.7 is valid until January 1st, 2021 and the SSL-certificate of Microsoft's Internet Explorer until July 16th, 2004.
Please use a modern browser version or follow the corresponding Instructions to renew the SSL-certificate whenever an error message is shown while trying to establish a connection with the Trusted Shops system.
