My Braun S9 shaver was out of warranty and wouldn't turn on. I replaced the battery but still nothing.

Searched the web and found that Fixpart had a circuit board for it.

Ordering was easy and the part arrived in a few days. Fitted it, put the shaver back together and hoped for the best. Nothing.

Plugged it into the charger and it lit up! Must have needed mains current to initialise the board
