What are the Trusted Shops Awards?
The Trusted Shops Awards exist since 2023 and consist of the Top Rated Company Award and the Excellent Shop Award: The Top Rated Company Award honours companies with the best reviews of the year. The Excellent Shop Award is given to shops that carry the trustmark for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years.

How will the winners of the Top Rated Company Award be determined?
The Top Rated Company Award will be presented in May 2023 for the current year, initially only for shops with Germany as their target market. The basis for determining the winners are the reviews from 01.03. of the previous year to 28.02. of the current year. The ten companies that have received the best customer reviews in each of the 34 categories of Trusted Shops are determined as winners. If the rating score is the same, the shop with more reviews wins. If this number is also the same, the award is given to the shop with the higher number of 5-star reviews.

How are the winners of the Excellent Shop Award determined?
As of today, the awards are only given to german shops. All shops that have been certified for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years, carry the Trusted Shops Trustmark since then and have a rating score of 4.0 or better receive the award for the applicable years.
